We are almost at start of the Summer Series for 2022, and again we have Cycletime (www.cycletime.co.nz) backing us through the year, its fantastic to have Dave and the team on board again for the season, they have been in Hamilton since 1988 and have been a favourite bike shop with many many members, past and present.
RACING FORMAT
2 Laps or 1 Lap, Sprocket Rockets do reduced 1 lap (approx 9km), Kids approx 4km
The only changes from last year is that all junior grades are U16, and Sprocket Rockets are U13
RACING COSTS
If you are a member it costs $30 for a junior (U16) and $40 for adults for the summer series of 14 races and free entry into the club champs at the end of the year. If you just want to race casually and pay week by week then members pays $10 and non members $15 per race.
RACING REGISTRATION
We will hold a racing registration evening on the 19th of Jan @ 5.30-7pm – this is a chance to prepay racing and ask any questions about the club or racing. This will be at the Maui St entrance of Pukete Farm Park. we can only accept cash or a prepayment via the racing page on the clubs website

Our race season kicks off on 26th of Jan. its always a very hectic night on the 1st race of the season so please come and register on one of the rego nights – bring your bike and do a lap.

We will abide by the rules of the Traffic light system, which for an event of greater than 50 people requires us to check vaccine passports. This includes all racers and spectators over the age of 12 years and 3 months, see the link for more information:
THE TRACK
The team that spend countless hours maintaining the track and building new sections have again been working right through the winter and the track is in great condition. Thanks again to Rob, Keith, Lyn and others for their efforts – we wouldn’t have a track without them.
